Barber, Nigel  - (1955 - )  An Irish-born American biopsychologist and author.
Dawkins, Clinton Richard  - (1941 -  ) An English ethologist, evolutionary biologist and author. 
Ehrman, Bart D -  (1955 - )  An American New Testament scholar focusing on textual criticism of the New Testament, the historical Jesus, and the development of early Christianity.
Gould, Stephen J - (1941 – 2002) An American paleontologist, evolutionary biologist, and historian of science.
Hazleton, Lesley - (1945 -  ) A British-American author whose work focuses on the vast and volatile arena in which politics and religion intersect.
Huxley, Thomas Henry - (1825-1895)  One of the first adherents to Darwin's theory of evolution by natural selection, and did more than anyone else to advance its acceptance among scientists and the public alike.
Ingersoll, Richard G - (1833-1839 - An American lawyer, a Civil War veteran, politician, and orator of the United States during the Golden Age of Free Thought, noted for his broad range of culture and his defense of agnosticism. He was nicknamed "The Great Agnostic".
Marion Leary - Director of Innovation Research for the Center for Resuscitation Science at the University of Pennsylvania and an Instructor in the Penn Master of Public Health program. Ms. Leary is also an Innovation Specialist at the University of Pennsylvania's School of Nursing. Her work focuses on using design thinking to improve health and healthcare.
Rosenbaum, Ronald - (1946 -  ) An American literary journalist, literary critic, and novelist.
Russell, Bertrand  -  (1872 - 1970)  A British philosopher, logician, mathematician, historian, writer, social critic, political activist and Nobel laureate.
